It is about a married couple who takes in a young mysterious
woman who is not what or who she seems to be. She has a secret that would
forever change this couple's marriage and lives.
Here is an excerpt:
Blair honestly thought her mind was playing tricks on her
when she was witnessing what look like Isabella slowly transforming into
something which was clearly not human. Blair continued to listen as
Isabella explained who and what she was.
“You may have heard myths of my kind. Some call us Sirens
while others called us Mermaids, but in truth we are Sea Dwellers. We are
really peaceful creatures who wish to co-exist with mankind and mean you no
harm. But, from time to time, we must return to the sea as we need the sea to
survive. We are endangered and we need to breed to prevent our extinction. Some
of us, like me for instance, breed with mortals in order to strengthen our
survival. Our offspring live longer when we breed with your kind because
hybrids have human DNA which can survive
longer on land without having to return to the sea to survive. “
None of this was making sense to me. Mermaids, Sirens, Sea
Dwellers? What on earth was happening here?
“Isabella, this is all too much to take in and process. How
is any of this even possible?”
