Bed of the Dead is a very short tale about a human woman named Chloe who longed for more kinky play and is now one of the brides of a vampire, though the whole coven seems to be able to sleep with her, I think. While she once longed for more she is now dissatisfied with the hard, cold bodies and longs for someone more warm and pliable—someone like Seth. A man who was capture by the vampires for his beauty, Chloe and Seth has a tryst together (often from the sound of it) but when Nick, the master of the house (I think), finds out he is not pleased….

I have to say that this was just way too short for me. It was not bad, and I know a lot of people have really enjoyed it but for me I just could not get into it that much. I was unsure on a few thinks (note my I thinks above) and mostly this was just because it was so short that it ended before it really began.

I would recommend it for anyone looking for a very short hot read. The author is a good writer and I will be looking out for more of her works, but again, this one was just too lacking on the plot even for a very short tale for me and left me with more questions than answers at the end.

*I received a hardcover/paperback/eBook copy/ARC of this book for free to review from the author/publisher/tour site; this in no way influenced my review, all opinions are 100% honest and my own.
