Ten Questions From Ana @ Beach Bum Reads

1. If you could slap one character out of a book who would it be? (sorry for the violence.. but I mean... there are some of those characters that just aaahhh aggravate you!)

Hmmm. Good question. Lol I can think of a few but right now I am reading the Shifters series by Rachel Vincent and there have been times (a lot) when I would love nothing more than to smack Faythe.

2. How long have you been blogging?

On this blog? Not long at all. All together? Two years this December 12th.

3. If you could giveaway an entire series, what series would it be and why?

As long as they were not my books and I was just buying them--I would giveaway the entire Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward. it is a very popular series, I like it as well, and I am sure my readers would love it!

4. What author would you like to spend a whole day with and why?

Ah. So many to choose from, I guess I would have to say Laurell K. Hamilton. I am a long time reader of her Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series and devoted fan even though I did not really love the newest book in the series.

5. Make an estimate of how many books you've read throughout your entire life

Oh. My. Well I know I read over 200 last year, but really I have only been reading, like I do now, for about 4/5 years so..around 8/900?

6. What was the book that got you into reading?

LOL! Twilight believe it or not. My sister was reading them---I did not like reading at all, or I suppose I had never had really read just because I wanted to before, but she was reading the series and I was like what he sparkles?! *insert incredulous face* when she was telling me about them and just had to read them for myself.

7. Where is the best place for you to read?

As long as the TV is not on, in the living room, on the couch.

8. Who is your favorite character and why?

No way can I just choose one! But for the sake of this question I will say either Ty or Zane from the Cut & Run series--besides being all around awesome and sexy as hell they are just wonderful characters, very real in a sense with all their problems.

9. What book could you reread over and over again without ever getting bored with it?

This is horrible question. LOL I am very big on rereading so there are too many to name but I will say any Night Huntress book, preferable the one with the lovely chapter 32. ;)

10. What do you like most about blogging?

The community. Most definitely. It always wonderful to meet another book lover and be able to talk about the books you each love with them.

It had happened. Simon had seen his second child.

Quietly and peacefully, she opened her eyes, quite soon after birth. Perhaps the brilliance of the sky overhead opened her eyes itself, and if so, it was our first indication that she had the ability of sight.

“I’ve never seen that color before,” said the medic.

“Nor I,” said Simon. “They are clear, not even murky, as Marigold’s when she was first born.”

“Are those truly purple eyes, or is that just an effect of the Lights?”

“No, they are genuinely purple. Or maybe a sort of violet.”

“Or maybe Lavender,” spoke Simon. Once I told him what the peddler had said earlier, about the lavender I traded from him, we agreed on her name. I did not expect the color to be her permanent shade, but to this day they are identical to when she first opened them.

Clinton Festa, raised in Rockland County, NY, is son to two educators and grandson to four.  Clinton studied animal science with the intention of pursuing a doctorate in veterinary medicine.  However, after graduation Clinton began flight training and has worked in aviation for the last ten years.
